This survey was to gather information from my key demographic (readers of physical en digital books) and see what’s important to them in experience, how they read digital books and their motivations.
From what I have gathered here they mostly enjoy reading physical books more, but the convenience of digital books sometimes makes them choose that instead. although some of the options of digital books can be inconvenient. What I have also concluded that there is a group of people who want to digitize their physical library. Furthermore, the setting seems to be important as well, a calming environment is mostly preferred.
Also there is also a certain group very much open to sharing books, socializing and reading together and some aren’t into that. But there is a market/ demand for such a feature. The laws that are in place aren’t stopping people from illegally downloading books, so there is still a loss of profit for publishers and writersrt\.
